So blog #5, in 3 years, here we come.
Normally these moves are associated w/ moves or changes in my life- this one is simply associated with the fact that a year and a half ago I was convinced by Diane that I should join Xanga so people could subscribe easy to my blog. Since I only have two subscribers (Mark and Diane) it's not really a huge deal if I move away. I never really liked xanga, but it was a legitimate reason to join up, but the reasoning that existed there previously is now gone. I mean, Diane, you mostly write on myspace anyway, right?
Additionally- wordpress has some great added benefits I think the two of you (and whoever else reads this) should consider. For example, it tracks your blog stats such as highest read entry, what searches turned up your blog, if you were linked to by some other website, etc. You'd sort of have to see it to understand, but it's just better.
I'm not saying wordpress is perfect, but it is better than Xanga. I don't have the feel of my site down yet, but one of these days I'll revamp it. I'm sort of in the moving in process.
I don't harbor angry feelings toward xanga or anything, but I definitely am not a fan. Thanks for the year and a half stay, but like a bad apartment, I'm going to get the fuck out of here. ::Jefferson's theme plays:: I'm moving on up! (Movin on up!)
Oh yeah- I'm blogging a lot more now. So it'll be pretty cool to see what I have to say, at least I think so.
